The Maker Market

In collaboration with The Hoxton and Lloyd Amsterdam, The Maker Store has organised a special edition of The Maker Market in Amsterdam Oost!
On the cosy terrace of Breman Brasserie, at the back of the hotel (Google Maps), you can discover a wonderful selection of small, sustainable and often handmade products from makers from Amsterdam and beyond. Amsterdam City Swim

Every year, the Amsterdam City Swim takes place, a special and meaningful swimming event in Amsterdam’s canals that aims to raise as much money as possible for the ALS Nederland Foundation.
As no effective treatment for ALS is yet available, this support is of great importance.

Lee Ufan at the Rijksmuseum Gardens
Until 27 October
This summer, the gardens of the Rijksmuseum will be the setting for the art of Lee Ufan. At his first solo exhibition in the Netherlands, the Korean artist will present nine iconic works from the Relatum series, on which he has been working continuously since the 1970s.
The sculptures, made of stone and metal, engage in a dialogue with both nature and the architecture of the museum building.

ArtAmsterdam Spui
8 September
Every Sunday from March to December, from 11.00 to 18.30 (18.00 in winter), Amsterdam hosts an art market on the ArtAmsterdam-Spui. Artworks range from oil and acrylic paintings, watercolours, sculptures, jewellery, ceramics, paper art, graphics, glassware, silk and mixed media.
