Fête du Champagne Winter

Location: Gedempt Hamerkanaal 231 – Kromhouthal (Google Maps)

This 3-day festival is all about Champagne, but don’t expect a fancy affair. The festival is very approachable and aimed at learning more about Champagnes. During the last weekend in November (29/30 November & 1 December), the Fête du Champagne festival takes place at the Kromhouthallen, on the IJ in Amsterdam North.

At Fête du Champagne Winter, French flair, celebration and winter magic come together. Be enchanted on a journey of discovery of champagne & vin, a sparkling Route de Champagne within the festival doors of Fête winter.

There will also be an Alphine Party featuring French hits with winter revelry or play a game of curling or air hockey. There are more than 100 different types of Champagne, Crémant and wines to taste, from big champagne houses to small-scale winemakers. With a drink comes a snack, and you’ll get those at the Christmas market.

Three days of fun and toasting, this is therefore the perfect run-up to the holidays. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Champagne, Crémant and wine. Amsterdam’s Kromhout Hall will be French, peasant and a romantic winter fairy tale, that’s the promise.
