Amsterdam in Motion – Discover the history and future of Amsterdam

Amsterdam in Motion, curated by the Amsterdam Museum, is a unique museum experience that shows the development of Amsterdam from a small village to a modern metropolis. At its heart is a 200 m² multimedia model with 30,500 hand-placed buildings, on which projections and animations bring the history and future of the city to life. The exhibition is housed in the monumental Zuiveringshal Oost in Westergas, which has been specially redesigned for this purpose. It is a permanent attraction for both Amsterdam residents and international visitors.
