The 22nd edition of the Afrovibes festival kicks off on October 2 with a two-day opening program at Bijlmer Parktheater in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The festival showcases dance, theater, and music by South African artists and the African diaspora, featuring both big names and emerging talent.

The theme is “Legacy,” with artists exploring current issues about culture and the past from an African perspective. Performances can also be seen at Frascati and De Balie. Performances with “Language no problem” are specially marked.
