On October 27, 2025, Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, the exhibition ‘Amsterdam in Motion’ will open in the Zuiveringshal Oost at Westergas. It features the world’s largest multimedia city model, in which visitors can experience the development of Amsterdam from 1275 to the future.

There will also be an interactive exhibition on themes such as housing, Ajax, and fashion. The project, an initiative of Duncan Stutterheim in collaboration with the Amsterdam Museum and creative agency Monks, will be a permanent cultural experience for both Amsterdammers and international visitors.
