Julidans is an international dance festival in Amsterdam that takes place in July at various locations. The festival focuses on contemporary dance with plenty of room for experimentation and diversity, exploring themes such as identity and protest through the body. In addition to performances, there are also post-performance discussions and workshops, which create a close bond between the audience and the creators.
Although the festival is international, it remains manageable with 35 to 45 performances in two weeks. The festival is a place for meeting, exploration, and innovation in the world of dance.
